How this site got here

According to the Mayan Long Count calendar the world will be ending on 21 December in the year 2012. After finding out about this not-so-trivial piece of information, I went in search of any memorabilia for the event - if there is already 2012 Olympics junk out for sale on the InterTubes - then surely there must be some end-of-the-world mementos out there somewhere.

I wasn't looking for any hippy-dippy astrology and crystals or other-worldly crap either. I wanted to find some memorabilia that celebrates the end of days. Something that gets people's attention and gets them talking about the smoldering ruins of civilization that could be coming. The kitsch should have some sharp cynical humor or a catchy slogan or a super neat logo.

To my horror, no junk like this exists.
So this site and its product lines are here to fill this niche. This is an experiment in online advertising and merchandizing, plus the business is just getting up to speed on designs. So please be patient as stuff comes online - we do have a few years after all.

Most of all enjoy the site and please buy some stuff; if the calendar is correct, this business only has a few years to go, so I need to make my money now.
